Italian Hand-Cut Stone/Wood Carving Rasp - 8" - No. B220

Introducing an innovative design of rasp teeth from the principals of B&B Artigiana (Bassoli and Barrie) - square teeth rather than the traditional pointed teeth. Since reduction is the initial step in both stone and wood carving, our master craftsmen have developed and produced a number of rasps incorporating these teeth as a way to make this process faster and easier to complete.

The C100 Italian steel B220 rasp has knife and spear-shaped ends to assist the carver while "cutting" and working with curvatures, crevices and v-shaped areas.This combination of tool ends can easily be used to remove unwanted stone and wood from the carving as well as finishing the piece.
