One of our mid-size wire end tools, the 217 modeling tool is primarily used when fine cutting and detail work are required. This somewhat delicate tool has its cutting edges hand ground to finely sharp edges ideal for sculpting in wax and Plastilina.
Its uniquely-designed ends have been shaped with heat and the use of a specialized jig. These ground steel serrated (having extremely fine teeth on the cutting surface) wire ends are 7/16" and 3/8". The shapes can be described as a bullnose wire end and an open oval end.
Both ends are securely fastened to a comfortable wooden handle for a smooth grip and ease of use.
Approximate length - 8".

I have one for sulfur based oil clays ... been using it for years, and it is perfect! Gets into the tightest crevices, the serrated end pares away clay while the straight ends smooths the clay beautifully. I'm ordering more for my non-sulfur clay.
